Gemma del Mare was our intended destination, but unexpected maintenance led to a switch to a nearby hotel. While the alternate accommodation was somewhat dated, the strength of its staff shone through. They were exceptionally helpful and accommodating, making the check-in and check-out process seamless. Location-wise, it was quite convenient. With access to both Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta, we were able to bike there in about 10 minutes, which made exploring moderately easy. The bar/lounge area provided a nice spot to unwind, although the overall ambiance felt somewhat lacking. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus, especially with a family-friendly dinner menu that catered to children. For those considering this area, the value lies not only in amenities but also in the kindness of the team.
